Rosemarie Rodgers

Rosemarie A. Rodgers, 51, of Harrisburg, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the Community General Osteopathic Hospital. She was born August 13, 1964, in Harrisburg; she was the daughter of the late Charles H. Rodgers. She is survived by her mother, Frances M. (Baluha) Rodgers, of Harrisburg; her fiancée, William Kagel, of Harrisburg; 2 sisters, Karen Mays, husband, Michael, of Greensboro, NC and Dianne M. Rodgers, companion, Samuel Deaner, of Enhaut; nieces, Shannon and Carlyn Mays; and her buddy, Skittles. Rosemarie retired from the Chief Reporters Office for the PA House of Representatives. She was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, Bressler Friendship Fire Co., St. Lawrence Club, and Italian Club, both of Steelton, Lawnton American Legion Post 998 and the Rutherford VFW Post 1213 Ladies Auxillary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM March 3, 2016 at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, Philadelphia Delaware Valley Chapter, 150 Monument Rd., Suite 402, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
